Traits:

Armour [Major Trait]

These cybermen bodies have been further reinforced by thicker layers of metal and an exo-skeleton. Their armour reduces damage by 20 points.

Cyborg  Immunity: Cold/Disease [Major Good Trait]

The modifications made to their organic bodies have rendered these cybermen immune to cold and disease. Their chest units provide them with oxygen, even in a vacuum.

Cyber gun – [Special Good Trait] The cybermen carry large guns [7/10/L]

Plastic Unit – [Special Bad Trait]

The chest unit of the cybermen has been redesigned to be more compact. It retains it’s weakness to solvents, still taking double damage from such a solution. Gold dust also clogs their ventilation system, suffocating them. Hitting the chest unit is more difficult reducing the attack roll by -5 due to it’s size.

When destroyed the Cyberman suffocates.

Story Points: 2-5

The Cybermen are now extremely low on resources. Apart from their exterior exoskeleton and implants to their lungs and muscles they are more organic than ever. The conversion process only makes a cyberman loyal to his race and no longer removes their emotions, although they try not to show it. Their organic chins are clearly visible.

This cut back in parts extends to their weapon systems. Their only means of inflicting damage, other than with their strength, is to use their hand held weapons. They have had to become more ruthless, making wide use of explosives to achieve their aims.

There are very few Cybermen forces at this point. They still obey a Cyber-Leader, identified by a black helmet.

Story Points: 2-5

It is unknown if the Cybermen encountered during ‘The Silver Nemesis’ were a faction stationed near Earth while the rest of their race slumbered in their tombs or a fleet that mastered time travel.

In any event this particular model was nearly invulnerable to weapons but their weakness to gold had developed to crippling degree.

Cyborg Immunity: Cold/Disease [Major Good Trait]

The modifications made to their organic bodies have rendered these cybermen immune to cold and disease. Their chest units provide them with oxygen, even in a vacuum.

Cloaking -[Special Good Trait]

These cybermen have units installed that refract light, rendering them invisible to the naked eye. Species with larger eyes can see through this. Any electrical damage taken by the cybermen disrupts the cloaking system, turning them visible.

Natural Weapons – [Special Good Trait]

The metal that makes up the cybermen’s armour is able to change shape, their fingers changing into the tools they need. This includes turning them into blades. This adds +2 to their damage.

Hypnotic Touch – [Special Good Trait]

The energy that once was projected through a special head mounted unit now flows through the palm of a cyberman. By placing their hand on a victim they can place them in a docile state, controlling their actions as long as they touch them.

Natural Weapon –Stun Ray [Special Good Trait] [5/S/S]

The Cybermen can project a energy beam from a helmet mounted weapon. It can cause mild concussion or knock them out.

Emotionless [Special Good Trait]

The Cybermen have completely removed their emotions but still have remnants of aggression. They are solely concerned with creating more cybermen in the most effective manner. They see combat as wasteful and seek other means to reach their goals. When resisting emotional pleas or persuasion a cyberman gains a +4 to their checks.

Vortex [Special Good Trait]

These Cybermen have mastered time travel. Their time ships are dimensional transcendental and are powered by a fragment of the vortex, a very dangerous and unstable element.

Skill: Convince 4, Fighting: 5, Marksman 3, Medicine 4, Science: 4, Technology 5, Transport: 3

Story Points: 2-5

In the far reaches of time the cybermen raise have regrouped and reorganised. They are no longer on the bring of extinction having advanced technology that makes them nearly unstoppable. Unfortunately it was all too late.

Humanity had long ago mingled with other alien races to the extent that their conversion technique wouldn’t work. To increase their numbers they had no choice but to master time travel. They now search different eras, seeking the most effective way to expand.

  1. Matthew C says:

You didn’t mention the Cybermen being vulnerable to bullets in Attack.

The 80s Cybermen are so macho- I just love the moment in Earthshock where the Cyberleader clenches his fist and commands “More power!”
